The Canadian War Cemetery in Groesbeek, Netherlands, is the final resting place of 2,618 Canadian and Commonwealth soldiers, many killed during the liberation of Europe near the end of WWII. The book “Faces of Liberation” represents an amazing effort by the Dutch people to honour their Canadian liberators by finding information about every soldier buried at Groesbeek. Brigadier General Peter Holt (Ret’d) will share some of these moving stories with us.
