Hear from Royal Canadian Air Force veterans and LGBT Purge survivors Diane Pitre, C.M., and Honorary Colonel Steven P. Deschamps as they share personal stories of service, resilience, and advocacy. Their experiences, featured in the museum’s Cold War exhibition, highlight the discrimination faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ members of the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, and federal public service during the LGBT Purge. The event includes a bilingual presentation, Q&A, and guided visit through the LGBT Purge section.

No Place at Corridor 45|75
No Place is an exhibition by Ottawa-Gatineau artist Shannon Whittle featuring a series of reproduced and reconfigured paintings of imagined landscapes. Drawing on historical landscape painting, media imagery, and personal experience, Whittle explores the delicate interconnections of ecosystems threatened by the climate crisis and human activity.
