Grand Corps Malade: On Tour
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
1 Elgin St, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 5W1 Canada

After a tour of major European venues, Grand Corps Malade is preparing an intimate original show for Quebec—and the NAC, of course. Accompanied by three musicians, he’ll perform a selection of tracks from his latest album, Reflets, as well as several of his classics.

And first to the stage, we’re honoured to welcome Yao!
Poetic, groovy, funk by moment and soul as a whole, Yao with his baritone voice, succeeds in charming us with the warm universe of his sweet poetry and his artistic audacity. His pictorial writing – cast in great sensitivity – reminds us of the textual richness of French rap by MC Solaar, Abdel Malik and Oxmo Puccino, with an eclectic pop side – where the musical universes intertwine.
The National Arts Centre (NAC) is Canada’s bilingual, multi-disciplinary home for the performing arts, including the NAC orchestra and Indigenous Theatre.
