Since her 2008 Capitol Records debut with One of the Boys, Katy Perry has achieved 115 billion cumulative streams and worldwide sales exceeding 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks. As Capitol Records’ best-selling female artist, she is one of only 12 artists in history to surpass 100 million certified units with solo single releases.
In 2015, Katy became the first Capitol Records artist to earn 10 million RIAA-certified units for a single. She also made history as the first artist to achieve three RIAA Diamond singles with Firework, Dark Horse, and Roar. Her Diamond-certified collection has since expanded to include California Gurls (feat. Snoop Dogg), E.T., and both the single and album Teenage Dream. This accomplishment brings her total to seven Diamond-certified titles—six singles and one album.
