Korn changed the music industry with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1994. The record pioneered a genre, blurred musical boundaries, and led to a larger cultural movement. Since forming, Korn has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, won two Grammy Awards, toured the world countless times, and set records that stand unchallenged today.
Korn continues to push the limits of rock, alternative, and metal while remaining a pillar of influence for legions of fans and generations of artists. Their impact extends beyond accolades and platinum certifications. As The Ringer describes, they are “a genuine movement in a way bands cannot be now.” Korn represents a new archetype, proving that genre barriers are irrelevant.

No Place is an exhibition by Ottawa-Gatineau artist Shannon Whittle featuring a series of reproduced and reconfigured paintings of imagined landscapes. Drawing on historical landscape painting, media imagery, and personal experience, Whittle explores the delicate interconnections of ecosystems threatened by the climate crisis and human activity.
