Get ready for the inaugural LOL Ottawa Comedy Festival, three unforgettable nights of stand-up celebrating the best of Canadian comedy! Taking place July 23-25, 2026, across some of Ottawa\’s favourite venues, including Laugh Lounge, Sky Lounge, Lowertown Brewery, Heart & Crown, and Speakeasy. This exclusive All-Canadian Comedy Program features headliners K. Trevor Wilson, Steve Patterson & The Associates, and Che Durena, alongside specialty showcases spotlighting French, Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ comedic voices from across the country. Shows run throughout each evening starting as early as 7:00 PM, with something for every comedy fan.

Drag the Archive: Photographs of Queer Gender Performance
Drag the Archive is a collaborative practicum project by Carleton University students in partnership with the City of Ottawa Equity Team and the City of Ottawa Archives. Through photography, the exhibition showcases the life and work of drag performer Paul \”Peaches Latour\” Fournier and queer rights activist, editor, news reporter and diplomat Philip Hannan.
