Ottawa Songwriter Showcade
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
830 Campbell Ave, Ottawa
Hosted at the Ottawa Conservatory of Music (830 Campbell Ave., near Carling and Clyde), a special songwriter showcase is happening on Saturday April 18 (8 pm). Three songwriters will be presenting their songwriting in song circle style. Folk songs from songwriters Marc Audet (https://marcaudetmusic.com), Sean Blythe (https://carleton.ca/fass/people/sean-blythe/) and Amy-Lynn Howson (https://amylynnhowson.com/home#bio) will be performed along side songwriting insights and stage banter. The small 40 seat hall at the Ottawa Conservatory of Music is the perfect quiet intimate setting for the sharing of songwriting. It\’ll be a great show, and perhaps the start of a series of songwriter showcases.
Tickets ($20) are available from Eventbrite (link below). Only 40 tickets are being sold (book your seats now!), but you can also take your chances with buying tickets at the door. Doors open at 7:30 pm and show starts at 8 pm. Meet the artists during intermission where soft drinks and snacks will be set out.
Come if you can. Support live music and the craft of songwriting
Marc Audet is a folk music songwriter, recording artist and entertainer from the Ottawa area.
