Ins Choi, the creator of Kim’s Convenience, comes from a long line of clergy. Before he was born, his mother made an offering to God that if she had a son, he would dedicate his life to the church. Turns out both God and Ins had other plans. Behold the triumphant return to the stage of one of theatre’s greats, as he riffs on Bible stories, his creative process, and growing up as the only son of the head pastor at a Korean church. A talented performer takes us on a musical storytelling journey, sharing how he built a career in the arts, won over his parents, and manifested the representation he always longed to see as a child.

Life onto Land: The Devonian
Before dinosaurs, life began its transition from water to land. Life onto Land: The Devonian explores this pivotal chapter in Earth’s history, when early vertebrates evolved features that would eventually allow movement onto land.The exhibition examines the Devonian Period and highlights Tiktaalik roseae, a transitional species between fish and four limbed vertebrates. On display are 77 fossil specimens, including the 375 million year old holotype of Tiktaalik, presented publicly in Canada for the first time. Through rare fossils and scientific…
