This immersive experience, inspired by Jean Giono’s beloved story and adapted into an Oscar-winning film by Quebec animator Frédéric Back, takes visitors through a multimedia journey that showcases how one shepherd’s dedication to reforesting a barren valley transformed the entire landscape. Through captivating sound and visuals by Montreal’s Supply and Demand, the exhibition celebrates the importance of trees and the impact of individual action. Scientific content from the museum enhances the experience, and timed tickets must be reserved in advance.

Illuminated Seasons
Highlighting the four seasons and local plants of the Outaouais region in Quebec, L’atelier de l’Aube (Marie Drolet and Oleksandr Polishchuck), in collaboration with Emily Rose Michaud, created Illuminated Seasons. Using hand carving and moulding techniques, each porcelain tile is illuminated to showcase the delicate and intricate craftmanship. Each piece holds personal meaning to the artists and serves as a greater symbol of our innate connection to Earth.

44.4 Mother/Artist Collective presents Don’t Worry, I’ll Only Show You the Good Parts, an intimate exploration of the ambitions, challenges, and realities of motherhood and artistry. Featuring 12 local artists, this thought-provoking exhibition opens April 17. Admission is free.
