Set in early 19th-century Rome, Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca intertwines art, politics, and dangerous romance, captivating audiences for over 125 years.
At the heart of the opera is Floria Tosca, Rome’s prima donna, who risks everything to save her rebellious lover, Mario Cavaradossi, from the corrupt chief of police, Baron Scarpia. Will she surrender to Scarpia to save Cavaradossi from the firing squad, or will she find a way to protect them both?
