Swing on the Hill

Swing on the Hill 2025 brings Ottawa’s beloved free summer swing dance social back to Parliament Hill. Step into the spirit of the 1920s to 1940s with swing music, dancing and community in a welcoming outdoor setting. North Gower Farmers’ Market

Come purchase vegetables, honey, meat, sauces, cheese, and other goods from local producers in rural Ottawa. The market was founded in 1994 by local residents Carolyn Seabrook and Andrew Harkness. Carolyn sold Andrew on the idea of a farmers’ market in her family’s vacant barn, and together they launched the project.
