SUMMARY:Ottawa Titans Baseball Club
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow sports fans and catch professional baseball games from May to September in Canada’s capital at Ottawa Stadium\, just east of downtown.  \nThe Ottawa Titans Baseball Club plays in the Eastern Conference of the Frontier League\, which includes 15 teams from Ontario\, Québec\, and the U.S. northeast. The team’s mascot\, Cappy\, is a family favourite. During non-game days and the off-season\, the 10\,000-seat RCGT Park stadium is also used to host concerts\, festivals and other events.  \nThe venue is conveniently located along Ottawa’s main highway\, and parking is available. The stadium is also easily accessible by public transportation via the light rail O-Train Confederation Line\, which stops at the VIA Rail station just a short walk from the stadium.

The lunchtime concert series\, Songs from the Shed\, will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-1:30pm. Music lovers from the Ottawa region are invited to come enjoy lunch outdoors with a variety of captivating singer-songwriters in solo or duo formations. The project will be run by Ottawa’s own Jessy Lindsay\, bilingual singer-songwriter and program coordinator.

The warm sun rises\, its tone and intensity changes throughout the day\, and desert life comes and goes. The music evokes the movement of a beautiful but unforgiving landscape.  \nFor years\, the narrative about the riot caused by the premiere of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring in 1913 Paris was that the whirling dervish of music and choreography drove audience members to lose their minds. It’s almost a shame it’s not true. But make no mistake: Rite of Spring creates a cathartic\, unruly\, and beautiful musical world that will viscerally pull you in and keep you spinning long after the final note.
