DESCRIPTION:This sculptural installation features a funeral procession of genderfluid\, otherworldly figures crafted from recycled materials. Created to honour the artist’s pre-transition self\, it celebrates transformation and affirms queer and trans identities. Drawing from mythology and reimagined folk tales\, the work invites reflection on change\, memory\, and becoming. DESCRIPTION:What if two greek gods settled a bet by giving fifteen dogs human consciousness? \nGreek gods\, Hermes and Apollo\, throw back a few beers at an Ottawa tavern and contemplate whether it’s possible to die happy. They decide to make a bet\, grant 15 dogs human consciousness\, and watch as the pups discover the beauty and pitfalls of complex thought and emotion. This epic ‘tail’ explores who we are as living beings and the primal\, vital connections we make with each other and ourselves. A true ensemble piece about dogs that’s poignantly human.

Drop by in person and you’ll discover a heritage barn packed with beautiful handmade goods from all over the planet—everything from clothing and jewellery to dishes\, home décor and furniture. It’s a kaleidoscope of colours and textures\, with racks of colourful silk scarves\, shelves laden with vibrant pottery\, and hidden corners filled with large wooden animals and stone garden sculptures.  \nTo ensure economic sustainability for their producers\, the owners of this family-run enterprise work directly with artisans when possible\, develop strong relationships with them\, and pay a fair\, living wage that allows the crafters to support their families.
